About Sunalta House Condos in Connaught Calgary

Completed in 1978, the Sunalta House is a multi-storey residential apartment building that was originally intended to be a walk-up rental. The building was poorly maintained until its condo conversion in 1995. In the following decade, the investors were able to sell off a majority of the suites at Sunalta House to proud owners as well as investors.

The building underwent a massive upgrade in 2008 that included redecoration of the common property areas. You will find a mix of one-bedroom and two-bedroom units, all of which feature suite-wide balconies that facilitate the abundant flow of natural light. The six suites located on ground level have large patios at the front.

There is an expansive parking lot at the Sunalta House that includes a below-grade space tucked under the building and one at-grade lot which though secured, is open to the breeze. Although you will not find any additional common property amenities at the Sunalta House, two high-speed elevators make access to the suites both quick and fairly convenient. The suites do not have all-in-one laundry hookups. However, some of the residents have installed all in one laundry units. Residents can, however, access the common property coin-operated laundry in the building. All the exterior doors and windows at Sunalta House have been designated common property for maintenance and eventual replacement (at the time of writing).
